I have been a custom software developer for 15 years. My expertise is in understanding detailed business process and translating that into automation. I am highly adaptable, creative, and overly responsible. .. I have proven myself in leadership and in project management. I work most often in all areas of the project lifecycle, and most enjoy the communication process and understanding the clients’ reality, ideals, concerns and goals.

The past seven years have been devoted to developing in Access/Visual Basic, and have involved complete turnkey systems, as well as independent applications to automate specific complex processes.

It is my objective to continue developing Access/Visual Basic solutions to meet business automation needs.

Equinox/Meridian (’02-’05): Several custom systems for this reinsurance auditor. Simplifying the complex through automation. Sole consultant on project:
....• Actuary Analysis Processing – flexible data importing from different sources, complex data analysis, and export to preformatted Excel pivot tables.
....• Receipt & Remittance - a complete insurance transaction accounting system to track all monies collected and distributed in the complex and changing insurance industry.
....• Projected Loss Analysis – complex data analysis to project loss in multi-faceted scenarios.

Parenta & Sons (’00): Custom Repair Order System, automating the entire maintenance & repair records process using shop floor workstations and bar coding per each step. Sole consultant on project

Wiedenbach-Brown (’94-‘96): Substantially modified accounting system, complex pricing and customer management for this industry specialized lighting distributor. Project manager of 3 programmers.

Datax Systems (‘00-‘05), MidAtlantic Data Systems (‘98-‘00), Micro Business Associates (‘84-‘98): Subcontractor for these consulting firms. Responsible for all phases of many client software projects, including technical sales, customer relations, business process analysis & system design, development, deployment, customer service & maintenance.

ADP (’94-’96): Contracted to design and implement Data Conversions from legacy systems to their new data structure.


Teaching/Training

Online Services (’98-’00): End-user training on Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) teaching classes of 4 to 40 salespeople for Parke-Davis/Warner Lambert. Over a dozen multiple-day trips around the US.

Halco, Inc (’00): Developed and conducted 5 week training course in all areas of their Manufacturing/Accounting system. Responsible for course curriculum, materials & manuals, scheduling, and acted as trainer for the program.
